'Snow White & the Huntsman' trailer - Snow White has never felt so Twilight

I’m not sure why there are two new Snow White movies in development, as it seemed like Disney covered the story fairly well back in 1937, but it’s happening so perhaps it’s time to see how much we’ve progressed in 75 years. This trailer is for the Rupert Sanders (first time director) adaptation. From the trailer, it appears that the film has a highly stylized version of the story with Snow White (Kristen Stewart) battling in a suit of armor and the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth who you know as Thor) taking on a much larger role than in the original Brothers Grimm tale. Visually, it looks like Twilight meets Lord of the Rings, with a hint of Disney plagiarism where it relates to the look of the evil queen (Charlize Theron). Still, that beast in the woods looks cool, right?

Thor 5 minute Comic-Con trailer is online and pretty cheesy (video)

I don't know about this one, guys. I'm getting the distinct feeling that Director Kenneth Branagh is a fan of the 1980s Masters of the Universe movie. Thor is sent to earth and girls ogle his cut physic. The outfits also look like molded plastic. If you're a god, would you really choose plastic? In any case, the trailer is below, courtesy of Trailer Addict. Let me know what you think.

Natalie Portman joins the cast of Thor

Marvel Studios has finished casting its upcoming superhero film, Thor. Natalie Portman will join the cast as Thor’s “first love” Jane Foster, a nurse. Chris Hemsworth is set to play Thor, and Tom Hiddleston will play the villain Loki. Kenneth Branagh will direct. He may be best known, as a director, for remakes of Hamlet and Frankenstein in the 1990s.

There are still no details on the plot of Thor, which, alongside Iron Man 2 and Captain America, will be a sort of prequel to the upcoming Avengers movie. Marvel details the plot as follows.
