Good editorial: Why do you care if critics hate the movies you like?

I've been meaning to write something about reviewing movies, but Paul Young of Screen Rant has summed up my feelings quite well. I encourage you to check out what he has to say. If you don't have the patience to read, get some, but here's his bottom line.
Bottom line: If a critic doesn’t share your opinion on a film, don’t take that opportunity to rip into them; just find yourself a critic you do agree with and in the end you’ll enjoy your movie experience a whole lot more.
Young cites Roger Ebert's half-star review of Kick-Ass and the crazy Armond White's glowing review of Jonah Hex, among other things. He makes a good point, but if you guys want to rip into me, that's okay. I encourage it. One of the best parts about reviewing is seeing how your views mesh with the rest of the world. Constructive response is fantastic, positive or negative.
