Roger Ebert wins a Webby for person of the year

I thought the Webby Awards had become somewhat of a joke in recent years. They didn't seem entirely about the web anymore. This year, however, there were a few very deserving winners this year, most notably, Chicago Sun-Times film critic Roger Ebert. The video is below.
Roger Ebert's website is one of the best places of discussion on the net. He still writes his film reviews, but takes time to give his thoughts on many other issues as well. Usually comments on articles are short and, well, lame. Somehow, on Ebert's site everyone behaves and everyone engage the topics at hand. Why? Well probably because Ebert reads and responds to a large number of comments. His Twitter stream is also fun to read.
If you haven't read about Ebert lately, check out this video from back in March about his appearance on Oprah and first time using his new voice. It's a good read.
Another deserving winner: the band OK Go. Check out their awesome music videos here.
