Winning Best Picture means $$$. Here's the chart.

Ever wonder how much a nomination and win for Best Picture can nab a film? Well, ponder no more. Hollywood.com has put together a very pretty list of past winners for Best Picture at the Academy Awards (March 7th this year). I didn't realize how well Slumdog Millionaire did after its Oscar nomination. If you haven't seen Slumdog, give it a shot. It's one of my favorite movies of the decade. Check out this article on ScreenRant as well, which shows a few more fun charts. Did you know that, if it wins, The Hurt Locker will be the lowest grossing Best Picture winner of all time. Avatar, if it wins, will be the highest. How delightful.
