500 Days of Summer is almost here (Poster)
Empire Online got the first peak at the new UK poster for 500 Days of Summer. I have to say, this movie looks great. It's about a boy who falls in love with a girl who really doesn't love him back. Sucks for him, right? Yeah it does, especially since that girl is Zooey Deschanel. I first saw Deschanel a few years back as a girlfriend in the show Weeds. She has an eccentric allure I can't quite explain. She is an actress to keep an eye on.

USA Today has a great piece on the relationship between Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel that I recommend glancing through. NPR's All Things Considered also has an article about the prominent role music plays in the movie.
Anyone else excited about this movie? Or optimistic, at least? The director has mostly done music projects, this is his first real movie, and the writers are pretty green too. There are a lot of unknowns.

Hey! Don't forget she was in Almost Famous, Elf and a few others too before she was ever on Weeds! Zooey Deschanel always does a great job creating her character! I want to see this one too. The ads for 500 Days are all over Hulu.
